IV-P C-GPIV

We have a very nice, modestly priced, Lancair IV-P pressurized, air-conditioned, maintained to Transport Canada requirements, inspected June, 2023, full pitot/static/transponder test (Transport Canada level) and ready to fly in Canada or be imported to the US. It was previously N-registered and LancairTalk can assist with getting that done as part of the purchase.
Training is available. The owner is an active ATP with CFI privileges in Canada where a type rating is required. In the US, training can also be arranged.
The airplane is in very good condition overall. There are some minor squawks in the panel and interior. There are paint issues visible that are cosmetic only.
We’ve priced this for someone ready to fly “as-is” while a new G3X panel is being prepared. LancairTalk can prepare a complete new G3X panel in approximately 2 months from money received and installation can be accomplished to suit your requirements:
1) Panel can be brought and installed on your location. 20-days full time is the estimate for installation.
2) panel sent to your preferred installer. The panel sent will be fully tested, all checkmarks in green with servos spinning and GPS data working and all configuration data set properly. No surprises.
3) Or fly the airplane to Calgary Springbank for quick installation or to one of LancairTalk’s participating shops for installation.
Here is a good example of what can go into this Lancair IV-P using the latest Garmin avionics we have ready now on the shelf and ready to build a new panel.
If you want a good clean economical IFR platform to build hours or commute to work this is the one. With the G3X update you will have an airplane that is faster and better equipped than a $1.4 million Cirrus. Lancairs are the silent secret that lots of buyers are starting to realize. Getting a good pressurized Lancair is not an easy find in 2024 so check the specs, get your refundable deposit in and go check it out.
